Congo Bars

Semalam, selasa 10 may, hari lepas gian "membakar". Mana tak nya, 3 jenis kek siap pada hari yang sama. Sementelah pulak lama betul shutdown oven dek kerana melayan door gift tu. Oven plak macam dok seru-seru jer soh guna dia. hehehe...suddenly terjumpa gambar congo bars yang cantik kat blog Arah, hati terus terpaut. Oleh kerana sume bahan yang di senaraikan dalam resepi tu ada dalam gerobok dapur, ambo tak tunggu lama, terus amik tindakan. Betul bagai dikata, congo bars ni sedap sangat laaaa...sampai tak leh berhenti ngap..ngap. Lebih2 lagi masa tengah suam-suam tu, hmmm heaven betul tekak ni. Jom layan gambar...(kasi u all terliur..hehe)
 Sempat pulak si sarah, bawak bekal ke sekolah...suka nya hati sebab habis licin, katanya cikgu pun turut sama makan n puji sedap. Tima kasih le tuan punya resepi yer.

Bukan setakat tu jer, si kecil amili pun sibuk yum..yumm..

Congo Bars

Bahan2:
  • 2  3/4 All purpose flour (saya guna tepung naik sendiri)
  • 2  1/2 tspn baking powder
  • 1/2 tspn salt
  • 2/3 cup butter (softened)
  • 1lb light brown sugar (453gm, tapi saya guna hanya 300gm aje - ikut selera la senang citer)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tspn vanilla
  • 11.5 ounce milk chocolate chips ( lebih kurang 326 gm)
  • 1 cup chopped pecan (pilihan saya ialah walnut)
Cara masak(sorry ambo copy paste je dari blog arah sebab malas nak type kat sini)

By mixer:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Set aside.
Combine butter and sugar using a mixer until blended.
Add eggs, one at a time to sugar mixture, mixing on low in between each addition.
Add vanilla and mix.
Add flour and mix until combined.
Stir in chips and then pecans.

By hand:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl. Set aside.
Stir brown sugar into softened (not melted) butter in another large bowl until butter disappears. You can use the back of your spoon to help incorporate the two together.
Add eggs one at a time to butter mixture and stir well after each egg.
Add vanilla, chocolate chips and nuts. Mix well.
Add dry flour mixture and stir until well combined.

Coat a 13 X 9 pan with non-stick spray and spread batter evenly into dish.
Bake at 170 degree for 30 minutes or until top is golden brown. Make sure you don’t over bake.

Simple kan bahan2 dan cara buat nya?...so, kalau rasa tak leh tahan tu...jangan tungu-tunguu...jom ke dapur...
